A simple, profound, unifying statement that cuts across political, geographical, religious and ethical boundaries. Most of Congress agree with that statement, but they will need the backing of voters to out weigh lobbyists.

When the number of voters reaches a persuasive point, we will approach Congress to sponsor a first, passable act, The Earth House Act which states simply: "In five years all new houses must be built to use 100% renewable, non-polluting energy." Since these houses are already being built, and since the buyers recoup their purchase price in energy savings and a higher resale value, the resistance to such an Act could be overcome.  

With a successful first act, membership would continue to grow, momentum would swell, and successive acts would be easier to pass such as The Earth Auto Act, The Earth Materials Act, and so forth. The American dream of a home, a car, and “stuff,” could continue with minimal impact on earth. In fact, High Clean Tech could generate jobs and leadership in the world.
